Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for ensuring that the quality and standards of facility operations, maintenance, and services meet or exceed organizational goals and customer expectations. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing maintenance and safety, ensuring compliance with procedures, and improving the efficiency and quality of facility-related processes.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES

  1. Quality control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure facility services and operations are efficient, effective, and meet high standards.
  2. Ensuring Consistent Service Delivery: Ensures that all servicesfrom maintenance and cleaning to security and cateringmeet predefined key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer service standards.
  3. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Facilities management requires navigating complex regulatory requirements, including health and safety, fire codes, and environmental standards. A quality role is essential to ensure facilities are maintained in full compliance with statutory requirements, industry standards, and organizational H&S regulations, while continuously monitoring adherence. This role also focuses on identifying potential risks, developing, and implementing mitigation plans to maintain a safe and secure environment, and managing all required compliance-related documentation, policies, and procedures.
  4. Driving Process Improvement : The role focuses on analyzing current operations and implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives, guided by quality management principles such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. This approach enhances operational efficiency through streamlined workflows, supports cost optimization by identifying and eliminating waste and inefficiencies, improves the utilization of resources and assets, and ensures environmentally responsible practices through efficient resource management and the maintenance of systems that minimize environmental impact in alignment with ISO 14001 requirements.
  5. Vendor and Contract Management Oversight: This position helps in conducting performance assessments of vendors, ensuring that all third-party services adhere to agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality standards. To adhere to code of business conduct (COBC)
  6. Enhanced Occupant Satisfaction: By focusing specifically on the quality of the built environment and services, the role ensures that occupants needs are addressed promptly and effectively, leading to a more productive and satisfied workforce.
  7. Cost control, Data Analysis and Reporting: The quality assistant manager can track and report on cost controls, performance metrics, service trends, and quality audits. This data-driven approach allows for informed decision-making and demonstrates accountability to senior management.

  9. To adhere to Deleum's and the customer's QHSE requirements.
  10. To perform any other tasks or assignments as required by immediate supervisors and/or the management from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB

  1. Minimum 5 years working experience and 3 years experience in facilities management in Oil & Gas Industry.
  2. Minimum 3 years experience in operating ERP Systems.
  3. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills across diverse groups.
  4. Good practical experience with Microsoft Office Suite, compulsory requirement.
  5. Excellent organizational skills and multitasking capabilities and a strong analytical mindset
  6. Good team player abilities with problem-solving and leadership skills.

ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, construction management, or engineering.
