Are you building your career in HR We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to support and execute core HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role plays a key part in ensuring HR operations run smoothly, policies are consistently applied, and employees have a positive and compliant workplace experience.
The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment while handling both operational and strategic HR responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and probation confirmations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and personnel files
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
- Coordinate recruitment activities such as job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and timely hiring process
- Assist with onboarding programs to ensure new hires are set up for success
- Support monthly payroll preparation by validating employee data, attendance, and changes
- Administer employee benefits programs and handle related employee queries
- Liaise with external vendors, insurers, and statutory bodies as required
- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulatory requirements
- Support HR audits, reporting, and documentation
- Support performance management cycles, including appraisals and reviews
- Assist in handling employee relations issues in a professional and confidential manner
- Help foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 56 years of experience in an HR generalist or specialist role
- Prior experience in a fast-paced or growing organization is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and HR operations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Well-organized with good time management and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Professional, discreet, and employee-focused
- Proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Mandarin
- Fully onsite
