  • Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations, industry best practices, and company values.
  • Review existing policies and implement necessary revisions and improvements.
  • Manage industrial relations by fostering positive relationships with employee representatives and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage disciplinary cases and conduct thorough and timely investigations within the timelines assigned by the Head of Unit.
  • Recommend solutions or suggest any areas of improvement within the team for case management and any other related IR process
  • Review contracts and agreements issued by other HR units or divisions.
  • Ensure all employment/training contracts, bonds, agreements, and policies are legally compliant and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct and coordinate the Domestic Inquiry
  • Handle grievances and disputes in a fair and timely manner, conducting investigations and implementing resolution strategies in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure HR policies and practices are effective, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to people managers and employees on HR policies, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Liaise with government agencies such as the labour office, the industrial office, and the SOCSO office regarding employee-related matters.
  • Monitor and review probation extensions and Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) processes.
  • Represent the Company in any labour disputes, hearings, or legal proceedings when necessary.
  • Perform data analysis for monthly and annual reporting
  • Undertake and deliver any other ad hoc projects or tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time, in accordance with business needs and priorities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in industrial relations, labor relations, or human resources.
  • Basic understanding of labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and employment regulations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial relations practices and principles.
  • Familiarity with current labor market trends and issues.
  • Willing to travel or relocate to Bukit Raja, Klang - HQ Office
