Job Description

Job Summary:

This role is responsible to manages industrial and employee relations matters including disciplinary cases, investigations and conflict resolution. The role ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations, represents the company in labor disputes and audits, and maintains accurate IR documentation.

Job Responsibilities:

Disciplinary & Non Performance:

  • Manage disciplinary processes, non-performance cases, and grievances including conducting investigation, recommended appropriate actions and preparation report & present to management.
  • Maintain and organize records related to labor and employee cases.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to resolve workplace conflicts fairly and professionally.

JTK and Industrial Relations Compliance:

  • Represent the company in labor audit, labor disputes, conciliation meetings, and industrial court.
  • Assist in managing employment-related permits and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and update policies in line with legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of industrial relations activities including complaint record, settlement and court document.
  • Prepare reports on industrial relations trends and concerns for management.

Employee Engagement & Support:

  • Promote awareness of company policies and industrial relations practices.
  • Provide support for HR reports and other related activities.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Organize training sessions on industrial relations matters for employees and management.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial relations or a related HR function.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, including the Employment Act 1955.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for handling sensitive employee issues.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication.
  • Familiar with basic analytical skill.
