Role Overview
The Senior Executive will assist in coordinating sectional activities, providing administrative and operational support, and ensuring timely and accurate execution of assigned tasks. The role contributes to the overall management of compliance and risk-related functions while supporting company-wide awareness and policy implementation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and execution of compliance-related activities to ensure alignment with business objectives and adherence to applicable local and international laws, rules, and guidelines.
- Support the coordination and execution of risk-related activities to ensure overall objectives are met.
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring the compliance structure performance measurement system.
- Liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders as required to support compliance activities
- Assist the Head of Section in ensuring all sectional activities and outcomes comply with established procedures and requirements.
- Support the development, drafting, formatting, and formal review of internal policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Coordinate and gather inputs from various departments to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards during document reviews.
- Maintain and update a central repository or database for approved organizational policies and procedures.
- Support company-wide communication materials and assist with awareness and engagement initiatives.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Additional qualifications in integrity, governance, or compliance will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of integrity, governance, compliance, laws, or risk management is desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in integrity, governance, compliance, risk, audit, or related fields.
- Knowledge or exposure to port activities or regulated environments will be an added advantage.

- Computer literate with intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (multilingual ability is an added advantage).
- Good presentation skills and well-organized approach.
- Able to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to learn and support continuous process improvement initiatives.
