Oversee and manage critical aspects of MAHB Data Center operational resiliency, including IT system backup and restore, privilege access management (PAM), endpoint protection disaster recovery plan.
Serves as a key liaison between technical teams, management, and external vendors, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration and contributes to long-term strategic planning.
Ensure all the managed system adhere to MAHB guidelines and policy in accordance with established industry standards.
Provide direction to the team in delivering services in a dynamic 24x7 operational environment.
Monitor and ensure efficient Service Level Agreement (SLA), documenting, tracking and monitoring tickets to ensure resolution in a timely manner. Requiring ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously including coordinating work effort of internal and external resources as needed.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS
 Lead and provide direction to the team in delivering services in a dynamic 24x7 operational environment for MAHB Data Centers.
Ensuring Data Center technical solutions meet the needs of business such as speed, cost, performance, and security. Plan the direction of the system platforms towards a 3-5 year technology horizon.
Continuously identify, review, and recommend potential opportunities for enterprise cost savings, service quality improvement, and operational efficiency. Develop operational strategies such as End of Life (EOL), applicable hardware/software product roadmaps, and vulnerability management processes.
MAHB Enterprise Backup and Restore: Develop, implement, and maintain effective backup strategies. Oversee the selection, deployment, and maintenance of backup and recovery tools and software, ensuring data integrity and timely recovery. Develop and enforce data retention policies in alignment with regulatory requirements, ensuring that critical data is retained and can be restored as needed.
MAHB servers Priviliege Access Management (PAM): Develop and enforce access control mechanisms to restrict privileged access to authorized individuals, preventing unauthorized entry into critical systems. Oversee the secure management of privileged account passwords, including regular rotation and robust storage practices. Implement and manage session monitoring and auditing systems to detect and respond to suspicious activities or security breaches by privileged users. Establish and maintain role-based access controls to assign specific privileges based on job roles and responsibilities, minimizing the risk of unauthorized access.
MAHB Endpoint Protection: Ensure comprehensive endpoint protection by managing antivirus software and other security measures across all endpoints. Lead incident response efforts related to endpoint security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams for prompt resolution.
Spearhead the development and execution of disaster recovery plans, conducting regular testing to validate data and system recovery capabilities.
Plan and execute routine maintenance and optimization tasks to prevent operational disruptions and ensure equipment longevity.
Ensure strict compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in data center operations.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of compliance records, technical documents, records and statistics related to work and adhere to the defined policy and ISO standards.
Collaborate with management to assess current and future capacity needs, i.e. resources, licensing etc.. Provide input for the annual Capital and Operational Expenditure budgeting processes.
Manage relationships with partners, vendors, service providers and contractors.
