Oversee Project Management for the IT Security Project Governance, ensuring project success within established time, quality, and cost parameters while adhering to robust project management methodologies.
Provide effective leadership and direction to project team members, ensuring alignment with Section goals and introducing best project management and methodology practices.
Demonstrate proficiency in managing projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring milestones are met within defined parameters. Handle conflict resolution among project owners, stakeholders, and the IT Security Governance Section.
Manage project resources efficiently, ensuring high team performance through guidance, motivation, skill development, resource allocation and optimise investment & solution.
Serve as the primary contact point for IT Security Project Governance, fostering positive working relationships and ensuring compliance with organizational regulations.
Act as a gatekeeper for all project demand and delivery stage gates of the IT Security Project Governance activities, ensuring IT Security Project Governance Team members deliver end-stage reviews promptly and proactively manage deviations, risks, and interdependencies. Escalate potential issues with well-defined mitigation plans and recommendations.
Job Requirements:
Having 5-8 or more years of Project Management experience with at least 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
Excellent interpersonal, good writing, presentation, and communication skills. Preferably multilingual and must have a good command of English (written and spoken).
Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Experienced in handling multiple projects at various stages of implementation, from project inception through the entire project life cycle.
Familiar with various project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) and other related PMO tools.
Must have strong leadership and people management skills; ability to influence, listen, organisational ability and time management.
Demonstrates ability to build relationships, work well with peers from business and technology stakeholders, and interact effectively with internal and external parties.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to lead the team to resolve any project issues.
Highly result-oriented, can work independently, and is resourceful.
Ability to plan and prioritise work/projects within the team.
Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering successful projects on time.
Possessing professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, or other related professional IT certifications will be an added advantage.
