Job Description
This is a hybrid commercial role sitting at the intersection of buying and key account management. You
will own a portfolio of brand partners end-to-end, from curating the right product range and negotiating
commercial terms, to driving sales performance and ensuring seamless execution across ZALORA's
platform. You'll operate with a high degree of ownership, bring a holistic business perspective, and
collaborate actively across internal teams to deliver results for both ZALORA and its brand partners.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Relationships & Strategic Partnership
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key suppliers and brand partners
- Develop and execute sales strategies to hit revenue targets
- Conduct regular business reviews on a monthly, quarterly, or seasonal basis
- Manage sellers with a focus on both short and long-term goals aligned to ZALORA's broader strategy
- Build and buy the most commercially relevant range for ZALORA's target customer
- Stay ahead of emerging fashion and retail trends and translate these into trading decisions
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify assortment gaps, brand exclusive opportunities, and sales-driving initiatives
- Lead contract negotiations with new and existing brands and suppliers
- Manage brand performance across key metrics; intake margin, trading margin, sell-through, stock turn, and delivery
- Identify promotional and marketing opportunities to drive incremental sales and keep the platform competitive
- Align brand partners to ZALORA's trading and campaign calendar
- Work closely with internal marketing teams to ensure partners are properly integrated
- Run post-campaign performance analysis and share actionable findings
- Monitor key metrics including NMV, conversion, AOV, traffic, and size availability
- Conduct in-season and end-of-season SWOT analyses and present strategy reviews to senior management
- Develop and execute corrective action plans based on performance trends
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Review seller catalogues to ensure assortment is competitive and content meets ZALORA's quality standards
- Work with internal teams to resolve content issues and improve operational levers including fulfilment SLAs, cancellation rates, and returns
- Coach and mentor junior team members on seller management best practices, tools, and processes
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years in a retail buying and/or merchandising role, with strong e-commerce exposure preferred
- Solid understanding of the full buying cycle, from range planning and seasonal timelines through
- Hands-on experience with data, reporting, and analysis
- Proficiency in Excel required; familiarity with Looker or similar BI tools is a plus
- Confident negotiator with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Strong cross-functional collaborator across commercial, marketing, operations, and tech teams
- Sharp commercial and marketing instinct, paired with strong numerical and analytical thinking
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and entrepreneurial — comfortable adapting as the category evolves
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and clear-headed problem-solving
