Position Summary
Accountable in supporting the FY- Flight Operations in managing and executing operational support functions across documentation, logistics, procurement, and finance matters. The role ensures compliance with company policies, standardisation of processes, and efficient delivery of crew operations support.
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in and uphold the safety and security policies and procedures in line with operations objectives
- Accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and audit integrity of all crew allowance processes, including calculation, payment, dispute resolution, and documentation, in accordance with company policies, contractual agreements, and regulatory standards
- Accountable for managing and resolving complex or recurring operations support issues (e.g. allowance disputes, vendor payment delays, system discrepancies) and escalating systemic issues to the Manager with root cause analysis and corrective action proposals
- Accountable for coordinating day-to-day operations support activities across crew allowances, procurement transactions, travel, uniforms, and administrative support to ensure alignment with Flight Operations priorities and timelines, and to support the Manager, Operations Support in maintaining operational stability
- Provide accurate cost data and analysis to support management decision-making, expenditure control, and efficiency initiatives, while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and crew welfare are not compromised
- Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing of all financial transactions related to procurement, crew allowances, travel, uniforms, and operational expenses, with proper approvals, record-keeping, reporting, and budget tracking in coordination with Finance and Contracts & Procurement
- Safeguard flight operations continuity by preventing financial or administrative delays, proactively identifying and escalating operational risks, and ensuring timely payments and availability of critical operations support resources
- Accountable for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of operations support data used for management reporting, decision-making, budget monitoring, and performance tracking

- Enforce standardised operations support processes, identify and mitigate control gaps or compliance risks, and support the development and maintenance of SOPs and governance documentation
- Accountable for identifying financial, operational, and compliance risks within Operations Support processes, assessing potential operational impact, and escalating issues with recommended mitigation actions to the Manager in a timely and structured manner
- Accountable for maintaining continuous audit readiness within the Operations Support Unit by ensuring documentation, controls, and records are complete, accurate, and readily available for internal and external audits, and for supporting the closure of audit findings.
