Senior Executive, Pricing

Join our Finance team as a Senior Executive, Pricing at Sunway Medical Centre Bandar Sunway, driving pricing strategy, cost structure analysis, and financial decision-making.

What You'll Do

Pricing Strategy & Cost Structure

• Review and analyze pricing strategies and cost structures to ensure financial sustainability and competitiveness
• Determine cost of patient care episodes and support service costing initiatives
• Monitor package profitability and recommend pricing revisions
• Conduct pricing analysis, market research, and competitor benchmarking
• Maintain pricing policies, guidelines, and SOPs

Financial & Business Analysis

• Prepare business simulations and feasibility studies for new services and equipment
• Evaluate financial impact of pricing changes, discounts, and promotions
• Analyze revenue, utilization, profitability, and cost trends
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets/forecasts and recommend improvements
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations

Market Benchmarking

• Benchmark hospital charges against competitors and market trends
• Monitor healthcare industry and pricing trends

Master Data & Inventory

• Maintain pricing and master data accuracy in the Hospital Information System
• Analyze inventory costing, consumption, and variances; support stock takes and audits

Process Improvement

• Drive automation and BI initiatives to reduce manual work
• Support system implementation projects (requirements, UAT, data validation)
• Strengthen internal controls around pricing, costing, and data management

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related; ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MIA or equivalent is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience. Priority given to candidates with pricing/costing background; strong data analysts also encouraged to apply and will be trained on healthcare pricing.
• Strong Excel skills including Power Query; working knowledge of SQL for data extraction/analysis; solid grasp of statistical and data visualization techniques.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets and cross-functional stakeholder.
