We're Hiring: Senior Executive – Project Management

Division: Technology Ecosystem Development

Are you passionate about project management, advisory delivery, and stakeholder engagement MTDC is looking for Senior Executive – Project Management to support and deliver advisory programmes and projects for MTDC's partners, ministries, and agencies ensuring timely, compliant, and value-driven execution.

What You'll Do:

Consultancy, Transformation & Project Delivery

• Lead and manage consultancy, transformation, ecosystem development, and advisory projects end-to-end.
• Conduct business diagnostics, readiness assessments, operational reviews, and gap analysis.
• Deliver advisory, turnaround intervention, and capability-building programmes for SMEs and ecosystem companies.
• Conduct site visits, stakeholder engagements, workshops, interviews, and advisory sessions.
• Develop transformation recommendations, implementation roadmaps, and strategic intervention plans.
• Prepare project reports, management papers, diagnostic findings, and executive updates.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, risks, timelines, and implementation progress.
• Support implementation and tracking of consultancy recommendations.
• Ensure assigned projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, timelines, and expected outcomes.

Business Diagnostics & Turnaround Interventions

• Perform structured business diagnostics covering operational, strategic, organisational, and capability dimensions.
• Identify inefficiencies, capability gaps, business bottlenecks, and growth constraints.
• Assess company readiness, sustainability, scalability, and technology adoption capability.
• Recommend strategic, operational, and turnaround interventions to improve performance.
• Coordinate ecosystem intervention pathways involving consultants, trainers, technology providers, agencies, and partners.
• Monitor post-intervention progress and measurable improvement outcomes.

Programme Revenue & Consultancy Optimisation

• Develop, review, and monitor project and programme costing against targets.
• Support preparation of proposals, RFQ/RFP submissions, concept papers, and consultancy presentations.
• Identify new consultancy, transformation, and ecosystem engagement opportunities.
• Support stakeholder engagement and ecosystem activation activities.
• Implement countermeasures to address project, operational, or revenue shortfalls.
• Contribute to the development of new consultancy and transformation programmes.

Governance, Delivery & Partner Management

• Engage clients, project managers, consultants, vendors, and ecosystem partners to define scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Manage multiple consultancy and transformation projects across sectors concurrently.
• Ensure governance, compliance, audit, reporting, and quality assurance requirements are met.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, trainers, facilitators, and delivery partners.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, outputs, quality, and compliance.
• Review consultancy deliverables, reports, and recommendations to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with MTDC requirements.
• Ensure proper contract administration, project documentation, risk management, and audit readiness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with ecosystem stakeholders and strategic partners.
• Analyse project outcomes, document lessons learned, and recommend continuous improvement actions.

Who We're Looking For:

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Project Management, Technology Management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, or related fields.
• Master's Degree or MBA is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in consultancy, business transformation, strategic advisory, project management, SME development, ecosystem development, or related fields.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience in business transformation, consultancy, and turnaround interventions.
• Proven capability in business diagnostics, gap analysis, and readiness assessments.
• Strong project management, coordination, governance, and reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder and ecosystem partner management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and report-writing abilities.
• Experience managing consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and delivery partners.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project reporting tools.
• Strong facilitation skills for workshops, advisory sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

Certifications (Added Advantage)

• PMP, HRD Corp Trainer Certification, Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, Business Analysis, Strategic Management, Data Analytics, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent professional certifications.
