Senior Executive, Reinsurance

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the reinsurance program to ensure accurate reflection of the latest product structures and new or updated reinsurance arrangements, while optimising efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement in reinsurance administrative process through the design and implementation of automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Design and enforcement on controls and SOPs for reinsurance system setup, changes and enhancements.
• Support the end-to end management of reinsurance treaties.
• Prepare and perform peer reviews of reinsurance reports for internal and external parties, including compiling and providing regular statements of accounts, ensuring timely settlement of reinsurance balances, and supporting regular reporting requirements.
• Support the addressing of reinsurance-related queries and provide accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop, review and maintain SOPPs to ensure processes are clearly documented.
• Ensure compliance with Company and Regulatory policies and requirements.
• Performed any other duties as assigned by Manager or Head of Department.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (actuarial sciences, mathematics, statistics, business administration or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in reinsurance, preferably within the life insurance sector.
• Knowledge in Insurance or Reinsurance.
• Proficiency in Excel and data tools (e.g. SQL,SAS,FoxPro,Alteryx) or other relevant systems/automation tool is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• High integrity, strong sense of ownership, detail-oriented, proactive, and a positive team player with willingness to learn.
