Role Overview
The Senior Executive, Sustainability will support the Head of Sustainability in coordinating and delivering sustainability initiatives across the organization. The role focuses on sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, awareness program, capacity building, community initiatives, and the execution of PTP's Sustainability Framework and Roadmap.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sustainability objectives are translated into measurable actions and outcomes while contributing towards PTP's ESG commitments and long-term sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sustainability Strategy & Roadmap Implementation
- Support the implementation and monitoring of PTP's Sustainability Framework and Sustainability Roadmap.
- Coordinate sustainability initiatives and action plans across various sustainability pillars.
- Monitor progress against approved sustainability targets and departmental KPIs.
- Assist in identifying improvement opportunities and sustainability best practices.
Sustainability Reporting & ESG Disclosure
- Coordinate data collection and validation across departments for sustainability reporting purposes.
- Support the preparation and publication of PTP's annual Sustainability Report.
- Assist with ESG disclosures, sustainability assessments, and award submissions.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, completeness, and alignment with applicable reporting frameworks and standards.
Sustainability Advocacy & Capacity Building
- Plan and implement sustainability awareness campaigns and educational initiatives.
- Support capacity-building program aimed at increasing sustainability knowledge across the organization.
- Promote sustainability culture and employee engagement in sustainability-related activities.
- Develop communication materials and awareness program to support sustainability objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Partnerships
- Coordinate engagement with government agencies, NGOs, local communities, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
- Support the development and execution of sustainability partnership program.
- Act as a focal point for sustainability-related enquiries, initiatives, and collaborative projects.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
Sustainability Governance & Committee Support
- Support the Sustainability Steering Committee and Working Groups.
- Coordinate meetings, track action plans, and monitor implementation progress.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for management and relevant committees.
- Ensure timely follow-up on sustainability commitments and action items.
Departmental Administration & Coordination
- Provide administrative and reporting support for sustainability program and activities.
- Coordinate departmental documentation, records, and reporting requirements.
- Support budgeting, procurement, and vendor coordination related to sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure efficient execution of sustainability projects and departmental operations.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Sustainability
- Environmental Management
- Environmental Science
- Corporate Sustainability
- Business Administration
- Social Sciences
- Communications
- Or any related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in:
- Sustainability
- ESG Reporting
- Corporate Responsibility
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Environmental or Social Impact Program
- Corporate Affairs or related functions.
Technical Knowledge
Exposure or experience in the following areas will be an added advantage:
