The Sustainability Executive supports the implementation of QSR Brands sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations. The role will drive sustainability initiatives, monitor ESG performance, support sustainability reporting, and collaborate across functions to advance the Company's environmental, social, and governance commitments.

Responsibilities

Sustainability Strategy & Program Implementation

• Support the execution of QSR Brands sustainability roadmap and ESG initiatives.
• Coordinate sustainability projects across business units, restaurants, supply chain, and corporate functions.
• Monitor progress against sustainability targets and KPIs.
  
  

Sustainability Reporting & ESG Disclosure

• Support the preparation of annual Sustainability Reports in accordance with:
• Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Requirements
• GRI Standards
• IFRS S1 and S2
• Climate-related disclosure requirements
• Support data Collection, validate, and consolidate ESG data from internal stakeholders.
• Assist in managing sustainability reporting systems and documentation.
• Support external assurance processes and audits related to ESG disclosures.
  

Climate Change & Environmental Management

• Track greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, energy consumption, water usage, waste generation, and diversion initiatives.
• Assist with climate risk assessments and climate-related action plans.
• Monitor developments related to Malaysia's climate policies, carbon pricing, and sustainability regulations.
  
  

Stakeholder Engagement

• Coordinate engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support sustainability awareness campaigns and employee engagement initiatives.
• Prepare sustainability presentations, reports and briefing materials.
• Engage with sustainability consultants, industry associations, NGOs, and relevant partners.
  
  

Governance & Compliance

• Maintain sustainability policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Monitor emerging ESG regulations and reporting requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation and evidence management for ESG reporting.
  
  

Data Management & Performance Tracking

• Develop dashboards and performance tracking mechanisms.
• Analyze ESG performance trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support data quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science/Technology, Environmental Management, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Sustainability, ESG Reporting, Environmental Management, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, or Climate Change/ESG-related roles.
• Experience in the food & beverage, retail, hospitality, or consumer goods sector is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of GHG Protocol and carbon accounting.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with sustainability reporting platforms is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Normal office-based role with occasional travel to operating sites and external stakeholder meetings.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across corporate, operational and brand units.
