Identifies data integration and data acquisition requirements by interviewing potential stakeholders (end user, business user, external party etc); analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems.
Design and build ETL and data warehouse solutions.
Provides technical application support to a large non-technical user base. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Execute data extractions, transformations, and loads (ETL) from external data sources to load into data warehouse databases on a daily basis if needed.
Operate with a high level of independent judgment and are typically responsible for implementing functional strategy, administering and coordinating programs, counseling and advising management .
Perform quality assurance checks on deliverables Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business processes and KPIs which are critical to successfully achieving the end goal of the business.
Implement visualisation of data via reporting, dashboard, tabulated date etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
Degree/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or other quantitative field
Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis
Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation
Experienced in Machine Learning and Statistics
Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modelling skills
Experience with SAS, ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics
Experience with expert skill set in statistical software i.e. R, Stata, SAS, Matlab, Numpy & etc
Experience in programming languages i.e. Java, Python, Google Cloud ML, Google Cloud AI
Experience using data visualization platform such as Tableau, Chartio, Data Studio in both an analytical and development capacity will be added advantage.
