What you'll do
- Perform accounting operations
- Daily processing of invoices, payments and expense report in an accurate and timely manner
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure a smooth closing of accounts and timely reporting of financials
- Prepare monthly accounting schedules, journal entries and reconciliation
- Provide support in process and system enhancements
- Perform ad-hoc assignments/duties as required
What you'll need
- At least 2 - 3 years of work experience, preferably started their career in an audit environment, experience in Blockchain/Fintech industry is advantageous.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, or qualified accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA, etc
- Ability to identify the control weaknesses on daily operations and implement process improvements
- Take ownership, leadership and proactive in problem solving
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Experience with financial planning software and familiarity with blockchain analytics tools is advantageous.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Skills in MS Office (Excel - Pivot Table, Vlookup, Words, Powerpoint).
- A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently
- Proficient in English & Mandarin
