Job Description

Acounting

Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and executive decision-support analysis.
Generate project P&L, project tracking, aging (AR/AP/Inventory), and intercompany reports.
Manage full set of accounts (AP, GL, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Bank) and monthly/annual closures.
Oversee journal entries, reconciliations (bank/stock/balance sheet), accruals, prepayments, and staff claims.

Treasury

Manage trade payment processing, vendor payment status communications, and bank reconciliations.
Oversee trade finance instruments, including letters of credit and bank guarantees.

Taxation

Manage SST, income tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing compliance and filings.
Lead e-Invoicing compliance (issuance, validation, record-keeping, self-billing scenarios).
Partner with external tax advisors on tax planning, estimates, and statutory submissions.

Audit & Compliance

Lead annual statutory audit coordination, schedule preparation, and audit query defense.
Act as primary liaison for external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory bodies.

Requirement

Experience in construction, engineering, project-based, or contracting industries will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, SST, withholding tax, and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience in full-set accounts and financial reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with Oracle/SAP and QNE is an advantage).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
