Role Description

This position is based inKota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

We are seeking anexperienced and proactive Senior Finance Executivewith strong initiative and a hands-on mindset to join our organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background inaccounting, audit, and tax, strong analytical capabilities, and good commercial finance exposure. This role will play a key part infundraising support, financial modelling, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, contributing to business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance withMFRS/IFRS.
2. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to assist management decision-making.
3. Conduct variance analysis, monitor project profitability, and provide insights on cost optimisation.
4. Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely completion of statutory and external audits.
5. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, andMIA requirements.
6. Manage cash flow, payments, and bank reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.
7. Collaborate with business and project teams to review financial performance and pricing models.
8. Drive process improvements and support the digital transformation of finance operations.

Requirements

1. Minimum8 years of total finance experience, including:

• At least4 years in an audit firm(Semi-Senior or Senior level), and
• At least4 years in a commercial or IT services environment.

1. Strong proficiency infinancial modelling, Microsoft Excel, and accounting systems (e.g.MySQL).
2. MIA membership if preferred and will be an added advantage.
3. Qualifications:ACCA, ASCPA, or other recognised professional accounting qualifications.
4. Good understanding ofrevenue recognition, project accounting, and SaaS/subscription-based business models.
5. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
7. High integrity, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
