Senior Finance Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Set Accounting & Financial Management
• Manage full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL) and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, cash flow projections, and fixed asset registers in compliance with MFRS.
• Assist in month-end closing and internal reporting.
• Accounts Receivable & Invoicing
• Handle AR functions, including issuing e-invoices, preparing SOAs, and following up on customer payments.
• Audit, Tax & Compliance
• Submission for SST, WHT, and company tax, ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations.
• Prepare audit documentation and liaise with auditors/tax authorities.
• Staff Claims
• Process and manage staff claims efficiently.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Support annual budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Process Improvement & Administrative Support
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks (filing, bank matters, courier arrangements, etc.)

Job Requirements:

• Education & Qualification
• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field.
• Technical Skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel, including formula functions) and AutoCount accounting software.
• Experience in handling Sales & Service Tax (SST) and Withholding Tax (WHT).
• Language Proficiency
• Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin proficiency is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Experience & Competencies
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
