Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Finance Executive or Finance Executive to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of finance-related functions including monthly management accounts, tax computations, audit and tax queries, intercompany reconciliations, insurance and road tax renewals, and group consolidation reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently.

Job Descriptions:

  • Preparation of company financial statements and consolidated financial statements to the group.
  • Perform and monitor intercompany reconciliations across group entities.
  • Monitor Fixed Asset Register – ensure additions, disposal and write off processed on timely basis.
  • Prepare corporate tax computations and ensure timely filing.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agents for the yearly statutory audit.
  • Bi-monthly submission of SST to Kastam.
  • Assist in monitoring and renewing company vehicle insurance and road tax.
  • Compile and maintain signed renewal agreements, leases, and other finance-related contracts.
  • Propose / undertake initiatives to improve operational efficiencies, quality & timing of deliverables, and reporting of meaningful financials to support strategic objectives of the Group.
  • Ensure all financial records, policies, and processes comply with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Perform other administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications (E.g. MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA, CPA, ICAA).
  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience. Auditing experience will be an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in group consolidation will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (SAP, UBS & AutoCount).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
