Senior Finance Executive

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting operations including Billing, GL and Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Prepare and circulate monthly financial statements to management.
• Prepare monthly accounting and cost analysis.
• Support all statutory and regulatory compliance, including liaising with professionals such as auditors and tax agents for annual audits, tax filings, and annual XBRL filings.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycle.
• Participate in the year-end stock count at the factory located in Gopeng, Ipoh.
• Oversee the accounting system and support other system maintenance and integration.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
• Undertake any other duties or ad-hoc assignments as directed by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial reporting or external audit.
• Strong working knowledge of financial reporting standards such as MFRS and IFRS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SQL, SAP) is an advantage.
• Highly organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a high degree of integrity and professional ethics.
