Senior Finance Manager

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, internal controls, and financial management.
  • Experience in professional services or partnership-based organisations would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with strong financial analysis capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall finance and accounting functions of the Firm, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to Equity Partners and senior management to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
  • Manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor and manage the Firm's cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to ensure strong financial health.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks, and regulatory authorities on statutory and compliance matters.
  • Provide financial insights on cost management, revenue performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop the Finance team, fostering a high-performance and accountable culture.
  • Support strategic initiatives and financial projects as directed by the Firm's leadership.
  • Undertaking any other ad-hoc projects/duties as assigned.
