Role Overview

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations for OKX in the UK ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. This role requires a strategic finance professional who can manage financial reporting, audits, cost management, and regulatory obligations. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with a passion for the fintech and crypto sectors.

What You'll Be Doing

  • The role is based in Dubai and involves close collaboration with regional team members, with a primary focus on London/UK. Therefore, flexibility to work across time zones is essential.
  • Take ownership of accounting, tax, internal controls, cost management, accounts payable, management reporting, and regulatory reporting for OKX UK operations.
  • Prepare financial statements for external audits, regulatory reporting/inquiries, and internal management reporting.
  • Manage the month-end closing process for local entities and integrate results with the consolidated group.
  • Implement the consolidated group's cost management system and adapt it for local UK requirements.
  • Work with Regional Accounts payable team to oversee the accounts payable process and manage all company operating expenses.
  • Lead local financial statement audits in compliance with UK regulations.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls around financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop efficient and automated processes for financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Support navigation of the UK regulatory landscape, including evolving reporting requirements, VAT obligations, and corporate tax mandates.

What We Look For In You


  • BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or crypto industries.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS
  • Comfortable with HMRC reporting
  • Familiarity with FCA rules and regulations
  • Proven experience with budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and performance reporting.
  • Understanding of cost management frameworks and integration with systematic AP processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Track record of leading complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment and ability to communicate clearly with senior management.
  • Self-starter who can proactively identify and solve problems, delivering results independently.

Nice to Haves


  • MBA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualification.
  • Experience working across time zones and multicultural teams.
  • Previous experience at a crypto exchange, fintech organization or banking.
  • Passion for blockchain technology and the crypto payments space.
