Role Summary

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Group's financial reporting, management accounting, consolidation, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance functions. This role ensures timely preparation of accurate financial information, compliance with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements, effective cash flow management, and provision of financial insights to support strategic business decisions. This role will also work closely with senior management, auditors, regulators, and bankers to drive financial governance, reporting excellence, and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • To oversee and review the preparation of management accounts and financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and ensure timely completion of reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and payable, fixed assets, taxation, PDE, and etc.
  • Lead the preparation of Group consolidated financial statements, quarterly announcement to Bursa Malaysia, annual reports, and statutory financial reporting.
  • To manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and feasibility study processes to support business growth and strategic decision making.
  • To monitor short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasting, collections, and payment processes, ensuring adequate liquidity and effective working capital management across the Group.
  • Oversee bank accounts across all subsidiaries, including opening, closing, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, legal advisors, regulatory authorities, and other professional parties on financial, taxation, financing, and compliance matters.
  • To support treasury activities, including banking facilities, loan management and financing arrangements.
  • Review and summarize loan documents, covenants, and term sheets.
  • Establish, implement, and continuously improve internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks to strengthen risk management.
  • Lead and develop the finance team while providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support operational efficiency and business performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification, e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, or CPA is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting & finance experience, preferable in managerial role in the construction, property development, real estate, or automated warehouse solutions industry.
  • Experience in a publicly listed company environment is highly preferable.
  • Hands-on experience in Group Consolidation and Management Reporting.
  • Proficient in IFCA accounting system and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to work under tight reporting deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
