Job Description
Finance Business Partner & Financial Planning
- Partner with Enterprise Business leadership in Singapore and Malaysia to establish financial KPIs and provide strategic business insights to drive performance.
- Proactive and hands-on in quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting exercise, conducting in-depth reviews of financial assumptions, pipelines, backlog and runrate. Identify and highlight risks and issues.
- Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts and develop financial models to support business decision making. Review assumptions and assess risk exposure.
- Support monthly closing activities, including analysis of variances against budget and forecast.
- Support delivery team in tracking business and projects profitability, reviewing financial assumptions ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with IFRS15.
- Review business cases for new investments, product launches and projects. Assess financial viability, identify risks, and monitor ROI post implementation.
- Review bid and tender to validate cost structures, evaluate deal structure, margin analysis and provide financial recommendations.
- Support finance-related queries from business units and advise on accounting implications, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and regulations for financial, statutory, audit and tax reporting and requirements.
- Drive initiatives to streamline finance processes, reporting automation, and cost allocation across business units and legal entities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with minimum 10 years relevant working experience and at least 5 years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with attention to details and accuracy while being able to provide crisp and clear summarized analysis.
- Good communication with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Able to handle ambiguity and deliver within strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in ERP systems such as SAP, Workday etc.
- Has tenacity and strong problem-solving skills.
