Job Description

THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support company management in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making. This is a highly visible role where you will contribute to financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and the monthly accounting close, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and actionable insights for senior management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Analysis (90%)
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting process, delivering accurate and insightful financial projections.
- Analyze variances and collaborate with business units to identify key drivers of performance.
- Build financial models to support strategic initiatives and evaluate potential investment or financing options.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare both short-term and long-term cash forecasts.
- Support KPI development and track financial performance, recommending improvements across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
Reporting & Analytics (10%)
- Prepare management and statutory reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to senior management.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and enhance reporting efficiency using tools such as Power BI.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or Chartered Accountant (MIA/ISCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, ideally in Big 4 audit, management accounting, or similar roles.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (Power BI or equivalent).
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP is an advantage.
