About The Role

SeniorFinancial Analyst – Record to Report (RTR) role is responsible for perform the end-to-endRTR activities for assigned T&T entities in accordance with defined SLAs /KPI target and enabling the execution of high-quality services as GlobalBusiness Services Organisation (BSO)

What You'll Do

  • Participateand execute month-end closing tasks which includes journal processing, journalpreparation, which include calculation and posting for prepayment, accrual,provision, allocation, posting of payroll, intercompany confirmation, fixedasset activities and monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Ensureall activities (including metrics / SLA reporting) are executed timely,accurately and with the required quality
  • Performmonthly / quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations completed in timelymanner and in accordance with the accounting policy
  • Timelyproduction of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting for T&Tdivision.
  • Ensurestakeholders queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible andproactive manner
  • Workingcollaboratively with other workstream within BSO and stakeholders to ensuredata accuracy processed into the system.
  • Supportand provide information for financial audit and tax audit.
  • Supportthe implementation, maintenance and monitoring of effective internal controland processes including SOX
  • Involvein process improvements and standardization of RTR activities to driveefficiency and effective processes
  • Facilitateand complete any ad hoc task assigned by supervisor.

What You'll Need

  • Degreein Accounting / professional qualifications will be an added advantage (CA,CPA, ACCA)
  • 3to 5 years experience in the relevant field preferably from shared serviceenvironment
  • Capableto perform operation task when required
  • Computerliterate, preferably with Excel analysis data
  • Proficientin English including Oral and Business Writing.
  • Possessknowledge of accounting principles and International Financial ReportingStandards (IFRS) / US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP)Accounting as well control frameworks such as SOX
  • Goodunderstanding of Finance systems & technical integrations (experience withD365 would be an advantage)
  • Excellentbusiness acumen and strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
  • Ableto work independently with problem solving skills and technical aptitude tobuild controls and identify errors
