Job Responsibilities
Financial Budgeting & Forecasting
- Partner with Regional teams the formulation of operational and capital budget
- Provide critical input for depreciation and amortization, forecasts, budget ensuring the P&L accuracy
- Perform granular analysis of spends, monitor and analyze variance between actuals, budget, and forecast for Opex and Capex.
- Proactively suggest improvements to cost allocation or operational processes to mitigate future variances
Legacy Asset Migration & System Implementation
- Involve in project to migrate APAC country asset data from legacy platform into Apptio Fixed Asset Register (FAR) module
- Ensure the end-to-end migration process-from data extraction and cleansing to mapping and final validation.
- Establish and maintain the Apptio Ways of Working (TWOW) standards. Build and refine Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to provide a holistic view of business service costs.
- Create sophisticated financial reporting from Apptio source data to provide transparency to stakeholders.
Technical Asset Management
- Managed Apptio Fixed Asset Register, ensuring all addition, disposals, and transfers are recorded correctly
- Apply deep knowledge of asset depreciation concepts (useful life, salvage value and methods) to ensure compliance and financial accuracy
- Determine correct treatment of project spend amortization (capitalization vs expense)
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS, particularly regarding capital projects and fixed assets.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g Apptio, PeopleSoft, Ariba, SAP, Oracle, others) and advanced Excel (modeling, pivot tables).
- Analytical Mindset: Performing deep-dive cost analysis and process improvement initiatives).
