Our client is looking to hire an experienced Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to join their Kuala Lumpur team. This role supports major international projects across Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform flow assurance studies including model development, simulation, and results interpretation.
- Deliver highquality technical reports, calculations, and presentations.
- Identify and recommend optimal flow assurance solutions across various project phases.
- Work closely with internal Process, Pipeline, and Project teams, and interface with client flow assurance representatives.
- Support operational philosophies, system design, and study deliverables.
- Contribute to business development and global knowledgesharing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering.
- 7+ years experience in process and flow assurance engineering with at least 5 completed flow assurance projects.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and multiphase flow issues (hydrate, wax, scale, corrosion, asphaltene).
- Proficiency in OLGA (mandatory), plus experience with Pipesim, PVTsim, Pipenet, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with HYSYS, Flarenet, Flaresim is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, computational, and problemsolving skills with excellent communication (written and verbal).
