Job Title: Senior Full Set Accountant

Location: Setia Alam, Selangor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Agensi Pekerjaan Phurewell Sdn. Bhd. is hiring on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Full Set Accountant to join their finance team in Klang.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports accurately and on time.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare cash flow reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and relevant authorities.
• Prepare SST, tax schedules, and other statutory submissions.
• Monitor financial transactions and maintain proper accounting records.
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting.
• Perform any other accounting-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, Professional Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA), or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience handling full set of accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Able to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mandarin speaking is preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients.
