Description

• Prepare and post complex journal entries while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in a timely manner.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and supporting documentation.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights on significant variances and trends.
• Support tax reporting requirements and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives.
• Contribute to system enhancement, automation, and finance transformation projects.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and undertake special projects as required.
  
  

Profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years in accounting.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully in-office environment in Kuala Lumpur.
