We're looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our Creative Department and take ownership of a portfolio of luxury beauty and fragrance brands. About the Role
Reporting to the Art Director, you will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, and delivering high-quality creative assets that support marketing campaigns, retail activations, e-commerce, CRM, social media, and corporate branding initiatives.
This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on creative execution. Beyond creating beautiful designs, you'll help shape how our brands are experienced across every customer touchpoint while mentoring junior designers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Brand Ownership & Creative Stewardship
- Take creative ownership of an assigned portfolio of luxury beauty and fragrance brands, ensuring all creative deliverables consistently reflect each brand's identity, positioning, and global visual standards.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of each assigned brand, including its heritage, customer profile, tone of voice, visual language, and marketing objectives.
- Act as the primary creative partner for Brand Marketing Managers by providing creative recommendations and translating marketing strategies into impactful visual communications.
- Ensure all creative executions maintain a consistent brand identity across digital, retail, print, event, and corporate platforms.
2. Creative Concept Development
- Conceptualize and develop innovative creative ideas, campaign concepts, and key visuals for product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotional activities, retail activations, events, and corporate initiatives.
- Translate marketing briefs and business objectives into engaging visual storytelling that enhances customer engagement and strengthens brand awareness.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams to generate creative solutions that support commercial objectives while maintaining luxury brand positioning.
- Support the Art Director in developing creative directions and campaign narratives for major brand initiatives.
3. Graphic Design & Creative Production
Design and produce high-quality creative assets across multiple channels, including but not limited to:
Digital
- Social media campaigns
- Website banners
- E-commerce visuals
- Email marketing (EDMs)
- CRM campaigns
- Digital advertisements
- Motion graphics
- Short-form video content
Print & Retail
- Point-of-sale materials (POSM)
- Brochures
- Catalogues
- Product leaflets
- Packaging adaptations
- Window display graphics
- In-store communication materials
- Event collateral
- Promotional materials
Corporate
- Presentation decks
- Internal communication materials
- Employer branding assets
- Corporate marketing materials
- Recruitment campaigns
- Manage the creative development process from initial concept through final artwork, ensuring all deliverables meet project timelines, production requirements, and quality standards.
4. Retail Experience & Visual Storytelling
- Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to develop integrated retail campaigns that create engaging and memorable customer experiences.
- Design creative assets supporting new store openings, pop-up stores, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and retail activations.
- Ensure creative consistency between online campaigns and in-store customer touchpoints to deliver a seamless omnichannel brand experience.
- Support retail photography, campaign styling, and visual presentations where required.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Brand Marketing, Retail Operations, CRM, E-Commerce, Commercial, Human Resources, and other internal stakeholders to deliver creative solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, production vendors, printers, freelancers, and external agencies to ensure creative projects are executed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Participate actively in campaign planning meetings by providing creative insights and recommendations.
6. Brand Governance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all creative materials comply with international brand guidelines, internal design standards, and production specifications.
- Review artwork for layout, typography, colour consistency, image quality, and overall design excellence before submission for approval or production.
- Prepare production-ready artwork and liaise with vendors during proofing, printing, fabrication, and installation processes.
- Maintain high standards of visual consistency across all customer touchpoints.
7. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed of emerging design trends, luxury retail developments, digital technologies, and consumer behaviour to ensure KENS Apothecary remains visually competitive.
- Explore AI-powered creative tools and emerging technologies to improve creative efficiency and workflow.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of internal design systems, templates, asset libraries, and creative best practices.
- Recommend process improvements that strengthen creative quality and operational efficiency.
8. Teamwork & Leadership
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to junior designers, supporting their technical and professional development.
- Share design knowledge, creative inspiration, and industry best practices with the wider Creative Department.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team environment.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and ownership while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic design, with proven experience developing creative assets for digital, print, retail, and marketing campaigns.
- Experience within luxury retail, beauty, cosmetics, fashion, lifestyle, hospitality, or premium consumer brands is highly preferred.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, campaign development, digital marketing, retail marketing, print production, and visual storytelling.
- Experience managing multiple brands or campaigns simultaneously is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro is highly desirable.
- Experience with Figma, Canva, and Microsoft PowerPoint is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Midjourney) is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout design, print production, and digital design principles.
