Job Description:
Group Islamic Finance Architecture Leadership
- Define and maintain the Group-wide Islamic Finance target state architecture covering core platforms, profit computation, compliance, product engines, and digital distribution.
- Partner with Islamic Finance business leadership to drive innovation (Sukuk digitization, ESG-aligned Islamic products, Open Finance models).
- Ensure Islamic Finance systems are interoperable and reusable across ASEAN markets.
Country EA Leadership for Indonesia
- Define and steward the Indonesia target state architecture, applying Group standards locally.
- Partner with the Country CIO to align technology initiatives with business strategy and regulatory obligations.
- Provide functional oversight to the in-country Head of EA, ensuring capability uplift and strong governance.
- Chair/drive the Indonesia ARB, representing EA in audits, regulatory engagements, and transformation steering.
- Lead portfolio rationalization and modernization of Indonesia's technology estate.
Strategic Business & Technology Architecture
- Develop Target Operating Models for Islamic Finance and Indonesia domains (Retail, SME, Corporate, Risk, Compliance, Payments).
- Integrate Indonesia's roadmaps into Group-wide programs.
- Maintain principles, capability heat maps, and guardrails for consistent transformation delivery.
Governance and Standards Compliance
- Ensure compliance with OJK, Bank Indonesia, and UU PDP (Personal Data Protection Law).
- Align with BNM RMiT, MAS TRM, and other ASEAN regulatory frameworks.
- Enforce adherence to Group EA standards, patterns, and NFRs in Indonesia initiatives.
Innovation and Market Trends
- Track ASEAN and Indonesia Islamic Finance trends, recommending group adoption where relevant.
- Influence Group-wide innovation in areas such as cloud-native, AI-supported Shariah compliance, and blockchain Sukuk issuance.
- Monitor local market trends (e.g. QRIS, Open Finance, digital Islamic wallets & etc.)
Job Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, with at least 5 years in Islamic Finance architecture within ASEAN.
- Strong experience in defining target state architectures at Group or regional level.
- Proven experience partnering with Country CIOs, regulators, and Shariah committees.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related discipline; Master's or Islamic Finance certifications is a strength.
- Demonstrated track record in Islamic Finance platform modernization (core systems, compliance engines, digital distribution) and Group-level strategy.
- Deep knowledge of Islamic Finance products, Shariah principles, and regulatory frameworks across ASEAN.
- Proficiency in TOGAF, BIAN & ArchiMate.
