About the Role

We are seeking a Senior HR & Admin Executive (Singapore Payroll) to support our Singapore operations while being based in Malaysia. This role serves as the Singapore payroll specialist, with additional responsibilities covering HR generalist operations and selected administrative support.

The role is ideal for an experienced Singapore payroll specialist who is comfortable owning payroll accuracy and compliance, while also supporting broader HR operations in a multinational environment. Payroll excellence remains the primary focus, with HR and administrative responsibilities supporting overall people operations and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll (Primary Focus)

  • Serve as the Singapore payroll subject matter expert, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.
  • Manage monthly payroll activities, including validations, reconciliations, and statutory submissions (CPF, IRAS, MOM, SDL).
  • Liaise with Finance, HR, and external vendors to resolve payroll matters and support process improvements.
  • Provide guidance on payroll matters related to employee movements, compensation changes, and special cases.

HR Operations / Generalist Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Support HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and contract administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and respond to employee queries on payroll, benefits, leave, and HR processes.
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits, and regional or global HR initiatives as required.

Administrative Support (Supporting Scope)

  • Provide administrative support for Singapore operations, including coordination of office matters and regulatory filings (if applicable).
  • Support administrative arrangements for company meetings or events involving Singapore stakeholders.
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 68 years of HR experience, with strong specialization in Singapore payroll.
  • Proven hands-on experience managing Singapore payroll in a medium to large organization.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders (HR, Finance, Compliance).
  • Solid understanding of HR operations and generalist practices.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and risk awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience in multinational, regional HQ, or IHQ environments is highly preferred.
  • Occasional travel to Singapore may be required depending on operational needs.
