About your new role!

We're looking for an experienced Senior HR Executive to join us on a fixed-term basis (6–9 months). In this role, you will take full ownership of HR operations across Malaysia and Singapore, working closely with the business and the wider HR team as a trusted and proactive partner.

This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who can work independently, adapt to change, and contribute immediately, whether leading key HR processes or ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

This role will cover HR operations across both Malaysia and Singapore. You will also get to collaborate with a large and diverse array of internal stakeholders and external partners within the GrowthOps network.

Please note: This role requires strong communication skills in both Malay and English.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and probation tracking to managing exit processes and identifying improvement trends.
  • Serve as the main HR contact for employees and managers, partnering with them on performance, conduct, and workplace concerns.
  • Manage daily HR Operations independently, ensuring accurate and timely process execution for records, audits, and statutory compliance.
  • Own HR policies and process improvements, including maintaining the employee handbook and introducing practical templates to support business needs.
  • Execute statutory compliance and payroll coordination, ensuring all requirements for EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, CPF, and MOM are met accurately.
  • Manage work pass and immigration matters, handling applications, renewals, and cancellations for Malaysia and Singapore independently.
  • Oversee workplace management, including vendor coordination and facilities management to ensure a safe and efficient office environment.

What We'd Love To See From You

  • 6 to 8 years of experience managing the full HR operations cycle, ideally across more than one country.
  • Deep expertise in employment law, with strong knowledge of both Malaysian (EPF, SOCSO, LHDN) and Singaporean (MOM, CPF) regulations.
  • Hands-on work pass experience, having independently managed EP, S Pass, and Work Permit processes in both regions.
  • Adaptable and dependable, comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and minimal supervision is required.
  • A sharp eye for detail with confidence in using HR systems and producing data-driven reports for management.
