Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Senior HR Generalist based Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, overseeing HR activities across the South East Asia region (Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand).
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, such as onboarding, personnel records, performancerelated processes, and offboarding while ensuring compliance with local labor laws
- Implement staffing strategies, handle endtoend recruitment, like sourcing, interviews, contracts, offers and onboarding
- Ensure HR master data is kept at a highquality standard.
- Develop required and review existing HR policies
- Analyze and optimize HR processes; contribute to digitalization and automation initiatives
- Support in visa/immigration processes
- Support organizational change initiatives and promote an inclusive, modern leadership culture
- Coach managers during complex or sensitive employee situations
- Design and deliver leadership and employee development programs; conduct skills gap analyses and drive upskilling/reskilling initiatives
- Promote learning culture and support Learning & Development activities in cooperation with the deugro group Academy
- Drive employee engagement, including wellbeing initiatives and local campaigns
- Maintain strong business relationships with leaders and employees, ensuring transparent communication and guidance
- Collaborate closely with Global HR, Legal & Compliance,
- Sustainability and other corporate functions on regional and global topics
Skills, knowledge and expertise:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, plus extensive HR experience (around 10 years), ideally in a regional, multicountry setting
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, local employment laws, and HR strategy implementation
- Solid experience in recruitment, talent development, and succession planning
- Proven ability to manage HR processes, drive improvements, and work effectively in international, multicultural environments
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationshipbuilding skills, including coaching and supporting leaders
- Analytical, organized, and adaptable, with solid project management abilities
- Excellent MS Office skills and experience with HR information systems (e.g., Workday, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors)
- Professional language proficiency in English and the local language
