Your new role

Based in PJ, you will be the HR Lead for Malaysia, overseeing the full employee life cycle and serving as the key HR partner to local business leaders. Your role will comprise HR business partnering with senior management in Malaysia, championing performance and talent management conversations with your department heads, employee engagement, and HR operations while leading a small and growing team. We are looking for talents that operate strategically, like a HR Business Partner and agile to manage HR operations in this position as the role will be a 50/50 of business partnering and HR generalist scope. You will also gain exposure in working with a regional HR team where you are required to translate business priorities into practical people solutions, support organisational growth, and lead key talent and culture initiatives. This role reports into a Regional HR Director based out of the country.

What you'll need to succeed

• Must be experienced within technology, fintech, digital, or China-owned organisations
• Proficiency in mandarin is an added advantage not a requirement
• Preferably in a Senior HR Manager or HRBP Manager capacity or equivalent
• Experienced managing a team of 2-5 headcounts
• Experienced in building scalable performance and talent management frameworks
