Senior Human Resources Manager- Malaysia

• Work Location: Senai, Johor Bahru

We are looking for a committed and strategic Senior / HR Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions at our Johor Bahru office. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business goals, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee and lead all core HR functions across all workforce segments, including manpower planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, learning & development, and succession planning.
• Drive HR strategy implementation at the site level to support business objectives and enhance overall workforce effectiveness.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on employee relations, organizational design, and talent development across operational and corporate teams.
• Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes, in compliance with local labour laws and company policies.
• Supervise payroll administration to ensure accurate and timely processing, including statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).
• Ensure full compliance with Malaysia employment legislation and statutory reporting requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end HR documentation and processes, including employment letters, confirmations, salary increments, disciplinary actions, and exit management.
• Manage employee benefits programs and HR operational support, including claims, leave administration, and medical benefits.
• Champion employee engagement initiatives and lead change management efforts to support organisational development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a HRBP or leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of the local Employment Act and statutory HR requirements.
• Proficient in HRMS and payroll systems; hands-on payroll experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR matters and influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Ability to work independently, think strategically, and lead operational execution efficiently.
