Rina Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd is currently seeking for an Instrumentation & Control Specialist to lead the I&C and Telecom team for a FEED Project relevant to an offshore CO2 injection platform.
The senior Specialist will be responsible for interfacing to the Client I&C, Metering and Telecom discipline leader, participating to the discipline and interdisciplinary meetings, participating into the preparation and review of the project documentation and supervise the I&C team, ensuring quality and respect of the schedule.
The candidate will be required to participate in to Hazid, Hazop, and SIL assessment as specialist for the I&C discipline.
The I&C team will most likely consists of 2/3 resources from RINA remote branch office. General supervision and support will be provided from Italian senior I&C specialists.
The FEED design of the onshore plant is ongoing, therefore RINA has already developed many general documents which can be used as a reference.
The Client is in MalaysiaEurope and RINA's multidisciplinary team is spread among Italy, Malaysia and Indonesia
The expected duration is 8 months.
Work location will be at TTDI and/or KLC, in Kuala Lumpur
Requirements
Minimum Position Requirements:
- BSc in Electronics Engineering (MSc is a plus) or similar
- 10 years working experience in a consultancy environment for I&C in oil and gas industry (onshore/offshore).
- Proficiency in PC use (MS Office) and in the use of the most common commercial software
- Working knowledge of the most common International Standards for Instrumentation Safety and F&G detection (Experience in CCS industry is a plus)
- Fluency in English Language
- Availability to Travel Worldwide on short-term assignments (meetingsworkshops)
- Good interpersonal skills and organizational capabilities
Location
Remote with possible trips to client premises for technical meetings and workshops
