Job Description

Job Summary

Experience - 6+yrs

Responsible for the design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and security of IT infrastructure, systems, and platforms to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance with organisational standards and policies.

Duties & Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
Administer and maintain VMware, Windows, and Linux servers, storage systems, and infrastructure appliances at hardware and operating system levels.
Provide Level 2 technical support for infrastructure and platform services.
Manage Microsoft 365 E3 components, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
Perform system configuration, performance tuning, patching, and capacity planning.
Technical Operations
Support system related components like OS, network, and security engineering tasks as required.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Microsoft PowerShell and Linux shell scripting.
Continuously optimise systems, storage, networks, and file systems for efficiency and security.
Strengthen system security using cost-effective and industry-standard practices.
Implementation & Delivery
Take a hands-on technical role in infrastructure deployment, troubleshooting, and solution delivery.
Supervise installation, maintenance, and operation of hardware, firmware, and system software.
Ensure proper procedures, documentation, and operational standards are followed.
Vendor & Project Management
Coordinate and manage external consultants and vendors supporting infrastructure delivery.
Monitor and optimise contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for performance and cost effectiveness.
Support compliance with ISO 27001 and ISO 14298 operational processes.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure solutions follow internal standards, industry best practices, and security guidelines.
Implement and maintain ITIL-based processes including Incident Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management using ITSM tools.
Support audit compliance and implement remediation actions from internal and external audits.
Coordinate incident response activities to restore services efficiently.
Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Assist IT Operations in optimising monitoring, backup, and recovery solutions.
Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption.
Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to support business applications.
Reporting & Communication
Provide timely reporting to the Head of Unit and Head of Division.
Maintain accurate operational and management information within assigned areas.
Other Responsibilities
Perform any additional duties assigned by the Company or authorised representatives.
