Position Summary
Senior IT Application Support serves as the bridge between the customer (which is the business users) and the solution development team and vendors. This role is mainly responsible for the day-to-day Level 1 and Level 2 support of the application and functional area that he/they are responsible to. At the same time, this role is also required for supporting the delivery of the necessary technology services to the business by analyzing and refining requirements.
Working Location: Vinda SEA HQ (Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang, next to Setia Alam)
You will play an important role to:
- Responsible for providing application and operational support to ensure the stability, efficiency, and effectiveness of technology solutions that enable business success.
- Act as the primary liaison between business users and development/vendor teams.
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 application support, including issue troubleshooting for end users and coordination with vendors.
- Contribute to building the knowledge base in collaboration with Level 1: Service Desk.
- Analyze problems reported by end users and work on identifying effective solutions.
- Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 day-to-day operational support related to implemented IT solutions, covering end-to-end Supply Chain processes from order processing, order fulfillment, and logistics through to billing management.
- Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed SLAs.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process automation.
- Maintain accurate, clear, and up-to-date documentation of systems and processes.
- Work on a rotating schedule, providing user support during weekends and night shifts.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any relevant discipline
- At least 3 years working experience in the FMCG / IT consultant industry
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
