Job Purpose
The incumbent will work directly with IT Project team and IT Management team, analyze the business requirements, translate into development tasks, plan out delivery timeline and the required resources.
The Senior Java developer will also support the ongoing production system, identify the root cause and provide solutions.
Requirements
- Strong with Java/J2EE, OOP and relational database (RDBMS).
- Familiar in Java JSP, JavaScript, HTML, microservices, distributed message-based applications, multi-threaded applications, sockets programming (TCP & UDP).
- Design, code and unit test the applications and frameworks.
- Experience in version control such as GIT.
- Good & comfortable in Linux Server, Application Server & Web Server.
- Knowledge of backends developing & consuming API such as REST is required.
- Have knowledge in SQL using MySQL and PostgreSQL database.
- Additional Advantage: Familiarity with Spring Framework, MQ, Redis.
- Document applications for technical white papers, user guides and operations guide.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum with 5 years or above of relevant work experience.

- Linux: Basic shell script programming, Cronjobs, Linux commands, Proficient in Linux system configurations
