Senior Java Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Java Developer to join our innovative technology team. The ideal candidate will possess strong backend development skills with expertise in Java, Spring, and SQL, and will contribute to building scalable, high-performance applications. Experience with enterprise integration and portal technologies is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain robust Java-based applications using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

Design and implement XML configurations and data integration solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity using SQL.

Contribute to the development of enterprise-level applications and services.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the application stack.

Mandatory Skills:

Java (Core and Advanced)

Spring Framework (including Spring Boot)

XML

SQL

Good-to-Have Skills:

Apache Camel (CXF) for integration solutions

Spring Batch for batch processing

JavaScript for foundational web functionality

JSP (JavaServer Pages)

Unix Scripting

WebLogic Portal or similar enterprise portal technologies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in Java development within enterprise environments.

Strong understanding of database design and SQL optimization.
