Senior Key Account Executive (Sales)

Role Description The Senior Key Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Bintulu, responsible for managing and growing strategic customer accounts within the automation and controls sector. This role focuses on nurturing long-term client relationships, understanding customer requirements, and aligning FOXMAY solutions with business and operational needs. Day-to-day activities include conducting client meetings, preparing proposals and quotations, coordinating with technical and project teams, and overseeing contract negotiation and execution. The Senior Key Account Executive monitors account performance, identifies upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and ensures timely resolution of customer issues. The role also involves market intelligence gathering, participation in sales planning, and contributing to revenue growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience in a similar role may also be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in key account management, business development, or sales within industrial automation, controls, or related engineering sectors.
• Strong skills in relationship management, stakeholder communication, and customer service, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical counterparts.
• Proficiency in preparing proposals, quotations, and sales presentations, including basic commercial and contractual understanding.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, including aptitude for understanding technical solutions and translating them into business value.
• Comfort working on-site with customers and internal teams in Bintulu, with willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, including ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Familiarity with ISO-certified environments, project-based work, or automation and process control solutions is an advantage.
