Job Title: Key Account Manager (Channel management & Trade Marketing)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Startup Phase)
Reports to: Regional Director (Hong Kong HQ)
Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese (both spoken and written) is required
The Strategic Mission
As our first dedicated Key Account Manager in Malaysia, you will own the Watsons relationship end-to-end. Your goal is to transform Moment Health Limited's (MHL) brand into top-tier performers within the Watsons ecosystem. You will be the bridge between our global strategy and local retail execution.
Key Responsibilities
•An independent, cantonese-speaking Thinker + Doer who possesses established relationships with buyers at Watsons, Guardian, and Caring, and is ready to take full ownership of both strategy and ground-level execution. You must be a highly disciplined professional who thrives in a lean, 1-2 person pioneer team, reporting directly to overseas management
• Watsons Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Watsons category managers; navigate listings, annual trading terms, and business reviews.
• 360° Trade Marketing: Design and execute the annual trade calendar. You aren't just running promos; you are creating high-impact campaigns that drive sell-through.
• Concourse & Event Planning: Lead the end-to-end strategy for mall concourses and in-store roadshows. This includes space booking, booth design, promoter management, and ROI analysis.
• Visibility & POSM: Secure premium real estate within stores (end-caps, floor piles, power wings) and ensure our POSM (Point of Sale Materials) stands out in a crowded retail environment.
• Inventory & Forecasting: Work closely with the HK supply chain team to ensure 100% stock availability during peak promotion periods.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience: 3-7 years of proven experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Trade Marketing within the FMCG, Health & Beauty, or Personal Care industry in Malaysia.
* Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese (both spoken and written) is required as the role involves frequent communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders/clients and handling regional documentation.
* Strong Network: Pre-existing, strong relationships with buyers at Watsons Malaysia is highly preferred. Connections with Guardian, Caring, or major department stores are a huge plus.
* Event Expertise: Hands-on experience planning and executing mall concourses and managing promoter teams.
* Autonomous & Proactive: Proven ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and report remotely to an overseas headquarters.
* Mobility: Possesses own transport and is willing to travel within the Klang Valley (and occasionally to other states) for store visits and events.
(Please note: This is an entirely hands-on, individual contributor role. You will not be managing a team initially but will be the key lead after we expand business in malaysia. We are looking for a doer who is just as comfortable negotiating with Watsons buyers as they are physically setting up a mall concourse event.)
