We are seeking a visionary Sales Director (West Malaysia) to spearhead and build a brand-new Direct Selling division for PRISM+ Malaysia. As a high-growth electronics leader, we are pivoting to include a direct-to-consumer networking model, and we need a heavy-hitter to build this ecosystem from the ground up.
This strategic leader will be responsible for architecting, recruiting, and scaling a high-performing direct selling force. If you are a master recruiter with a proven track record of turning independent representatives into a massive sales engine, we want you to lead this charge. You will be a core member of the PRISM+ Malaysia executive team, reporting directly to the Country Director.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Team Architecture: Build and scale a robust direct selling organization across West Malaysia, focusing on recruiter acquisition and downline retention
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement aggressive sales strategies, compensation plans, and incentive programs tailored for the West Malaysian market
- Training & Enablement: Design training modules for field leaders to ensure deep product knowledge of PRISM+ electronics and effective closing techniques
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyse organizational KPIs, ensuring the sales force meets monthly and quarterly volume targets
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing and Operations teams to ensure seamless product delivery and brand alignment for field agents
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all direct selling activities comply with Malaysian regulations (AJL) and maintain the highest ethical standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in building and leading Direct Selling (MLM/DS) teams
- Proven track record of managing large-scale independent sales forces (thousands of members) within the West Malaysian region
- Deep understanding of the West Malaysian consumer demographic and local networking hubs (Klang Valley, Penang, Johor)
- Leadership Pipeline: Strong existing network of high-level direct selling leaders and recruiters
- Strategic Growth: Experience transitioning a traditional retail brand into a direct selling or affiliate model
- Data Savvy: Ability to use data analytics to forecast inventory needs and calculate commission payouts accurately
- Exceptional public speaking and motivational skills; ability to command a room of hundreds
- High proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin/Cantonese is a significant advantage for West Malaysia's market reach
