Job Title: Senior L3 Support
Domain: Core Banking
Sub-Domain: L3 support
Role Level: Senior (L3, 6-9 Years of Experience)
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior L3 Application Maintenance/Production Support professional with expertise in Core Banking systems, specifically in REM & ROS Payments. The role involves end-to-end incident, problem, and change management, ensuring system availability and stability, and providing technical support on AS400 platforms. The candidate must bring strong ITIL knowledge and proven experience in managing mission-critical production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L3 support for Core Banking applications within the REM & ROS Payments domain.
Manage incidents, service requests, and problem resolution in line with ITIL best practices.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
Handle batch monitoring, job scheduling, and performance tuning on AS400/DB2.
Support deployment, patching, and production changes with minimal downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for defect fixes, enhancements, and testing.
Ensure compliance with SLAs, audit, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
6-9 years of experience in Core Banking L3 Application Maintenance/Production Support.
Strong hands-on experience in COBOL and RPG programming on AS400.
Proficiency with DB2 database management and AS400 OS environment.
Good understanding of REM & ROS (Payments) processing.
ITIL certification or proven experience in ITIL processes.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident management skills.
Ability to work independently in a high-pressure production support environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
