Project: Development and maintenance of complex e-commerce system.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur.

The Senior Laravel Developer responsibilities :

Design and implement scalable backend services using Laravel

Maintain and improve e-commerce or transactional logic

Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps for seamless integration

Solve complex system problems and performance bottlenecks

Ensure code quality through reviews and automated testing

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Laravel Development, including design and implement scalable backend services using Laravel
• At least 4 years of experience in Laravel development
• Maintain and improve e-commerce or transactional logic
• Proven experience in building e-commerce or transaction-heavy systems
• Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps for seamless integration
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Solve complex system problems and performance bottlenecks
• Deep understanding of PHP and Laravel ecosystem
• Ensure code quality through reviews and automated testing
• Proficiency in Laravel features
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Competence with Git and version control workflows
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in the software development, software testing or related fields is an advantage
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced on-site environment
