Role: Senior Layout / Schedule Engineer

Job Description
- Take central ownership of tool layout planning, space allocation, and footprint optimization across new and existing campuses.
- Develop and maintain integrated master schedules covering construction, facilities readiness, tool move-in, utilities availability, and production requirements.
- Coordinate tool relocation layouts, future capacity planning, and phased execution strategies with facilities, manufacturing, and project teams.
- Act as the single coordination point between PMC, facilities, production, tool owners, and vendors for layout and schedule alignment.
- Identify schedule clashes, interface risks, and critical paths early and propose mitigation or recovery plans.
- Track project progress, dependencies, and key readiness milestones such as layout freeze, utility readiness, and tool availability.
- Support what-if and scenario planning including delay recovery, resequencing, and parallel execution strategies.
- Ensure alignment between layout, utilities, structure, EHS, and safety requirements.
- Prepare and maintain visual planning tools such as look-ahead plans, milestone trackers, and dashboard summaries for management reviews.
- Monitor changes to layout or schedule and assess impact to cost, timeline, and production readiness.
- Report regularly on layout status, schedule health, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, consultants, and contractors to support smooth execution.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, Facilities, or relevant discipline).
- Minimum 58 years of experience in layout planning, space planning, project scheduling, or facilities planning.
- Strong knowledge of tool layout planning, space utilization, and capacity planning, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with project scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera, MS Project) and strong Excel skills for tracking and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD
- Ability to manage multiple interfaces and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, dependencies, and critical paths.
- Good understanding of facilities utilities, construction sequencing, and tool installation interfaces.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage fast-track or overlapping projects.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in semiconductor industry and cleanroom environments is preferred.
