A global expanding manufacturer which involves in designing and manufacturing critical infrastructure supporting AI, cloud and data-center environments, while its Kulim facility was established specifically to support evolving data-center requirements.

Job Description

Lead technical projects to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in technology applications.
Establish strong engineering standards and technical competencies across Linux, networking, hardware debugging, test automation and advanced cooling technologies.
Monitor and analyse system performance to identify areas for improvement.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders.
Develop the roadmap for test automation, diagnostics, coverage and cycle-time improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Senior Lead Engineer (FCT) Should Have

A strong educational background in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years of test engineering experience, especially Functional testing.
At least 3 years of technical leadership within an FCT/test engineering environment.
Strong experience supporting complex system-level products such as network switches.
Strong knowledge of x86 and/or ARM server architectures.
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, LabVIEW
Comfortable operating and troubleshooting within a Linux environment.
Strong understanding of automated test architecture and manufacturing test systems
